Migraine Access is an Android app concept being developed by Cheryl Summitt, inspired by her experience living with ongoing migraines, sensitivity to light, eye pain, and reduced vision, as well as her husband's struggle with chronic migraines.
Recognizing how difficult it can be to use conventional apps while experiencing pain, visual discomfort, or brain fog, Cheryl's goal is to create a more accessible way to track symptoms and review local weather and barometric pressure trends.
The project is being designed around accessibility first, with muted customizable color palettes, clear typography, reduced visual clutter, simplified navigation, and quick symptom logging without lengthy setup.
Migraine Access is currently in the idea-validation and design stage. Its mission is to make migraine-related information easier to access, understand, and organize in a format that feels more comfortable and practical for people living with migraines.
Privacy, affordability, and ease of use are core principles guiding its development. Migraine Access is not intended to diagnose, treat, or prevent medical conditions.
